Encountering The Compassion of Jesus (Ambient Meditation with a Brennan Manning Sermon)
Earlier in the year, I was recovering from some disillusionment around my relationship with God and the state of my heart. I had my guitar out and was lightly playing as I was experimenting with a new granular synth based guitar pedal (The Microcosm for those who are wondering) and listening to Brennan Manning and all the audio was coming out of my system at the same time and I found myself weeping as the reality of the heart of Jesus was being expressed by this man of God. I decided to record it and make it available to you all. I’m attempting to post it to Spotify and such as well although I’m not sure how it’s going to work with the copyright thing. It was sermon on youtube poorly recorded on a very basic church sound system. I repaired the audio and did some light edits. This 4 song project is the result. I hope it blesses you as it blessed me.
